World In Union

Hi every one, Well Christmas is only two weeks away and we are all quite buisy in preparing our selves and our homes for the festive season. No matter where we are in the world Christmas is celebrated by Christians as The Birth Of Our Lord Jesus Christ To The Virgin Mary In Bethlehem as described In St Lukes Gospel Chapter 2. We are told that Christmas is a time of giving and receiving, It is a time for The Familly Our Children, The Look on there eyes on Christmas morning when they see that father Christmas has been yet again and delivered down our chimney's there presents. However there is an alternative Christmas Story that perhaps we should listen to. It goes some thing like this. If you all recall back in 1999 there was a Rugby Football Tornament Held in Cardiff In Wales, On the opening day the following Song Called "The World In Union" Was sung the lyrics are as follows:-

There`s a dream so real
All the world in union
The world as one

Gathering together
One mind, one heart

To both Pauline and I these words speak volumes to us all. We as Committed Christian must work towards the Ultimate goal That of A World In A Union Not Only At Peace With it's self but peace with Christ and that they all will Come to know him as there Lord and Saviour and very best friend For "Jesus Loves You And Has A Plan For Your Life" When Our Lord ascended in to Heaven We read in Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto then saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth". "Go ye therefore, and teach all Nations, babtizing them in the name of the Father,Son and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, AMEN.

I will close this message with a short prayer :-

Eternal God and Father,
you create us by your power
and redeem us by your love:
guide and strengthen us by your Spirit,
that we may give ourselves in love and service to one another and to you;
through Jesus Christ Our Lord AMEN.
