Fellowship

it all depends on what you consider that the definition of the Fellowship is The dictionary definition is as follows :- The condition of sharing similar interests, ideals, or experiences, as by reason of profession, religion, or nationality.
The companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms.
A close association of friends or equals sharing similar interests. Friendship; comradeship
The Bible's Definition is again as follows :- .
Fellowship
There is no specific definition given in the N.T. But we are called into fellowship with one another (1 John 1:3, with Jesus (1 Cor. 1:9), with the Father (1 John 1:3), and with the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14). Fellowship implies sharing common interests, desires, and motivations. Fellowship requires that time be spent with another communicating, caring, etc. It carries with it a hint of intimacy. As Christians we fellowship with one another because of our position in Christ, because we are all redeemed and share an intimate personal knowledge of Jesus. We share a common belief (Acts 2:42), hope (Heb. 11:39-40), and need (2 Cor. 8:1-15).
The Greek word for fellowship is koinonia. This word is also translated communion in 1 Cor. 10:16 in the KJV. This is where we get the term the communion supper.
We should also keep in mind that our Lord himself stated "When two or more are gathered in my name there will i be also" This in our view means that even if we are gathered either eating a meal or watching a Dvd we are in fact having an act of fellowship, We accept that we should have had the grace said be fore we began to eat our meals, But with regards to an act of fellowship we are at least in the oppinion of both Pauline and myself when we meet on May 20th will be having an act of fellowship. Sincerely in Christ, Clive and Pauline (†_Matched_1†) and (Gods-Truth)
