Frustration

Hi everyone, Frustaration! Well all feel like this from time to time don't we? The dictionaries definition is "Defeat, Dissapoint, To Thwart. The Bible says some thing not unlike this Its Definition is To be baffled, canceled, crippled, dissatisfied, intercepted, neutalised, or to undermine or to inhibit. Frustration empties you, confuses you, undercuts you makes you feel that you were so close yet so far away. The Bible says that frustrations are a part of living in this sinful world, And one of the biggest is the way sin and evil seem to so often frustrate good. But God offers us the bigger picture. Frustrations are temporary obstacles that can be over come, not by eliminating them, but by persevering through them. Even both Pauline and myself found ourselves frustrated several weeks ago when our Msn chat room was attacked by room hackers and we knew that there was nothing we could do about it but simply sit through it. We read in Micah 6:15 You will plant crops but not harvest them. You will press olives but not get enough oil to anoint yourselves. You will trample the grapes but get no juice to make your wine. Sometimes we are frustrated when we work hard for something but it does not happen. In James 4:3 we read And even when you do ask, you don't get it because your motive is wrong, you want only what will give you pleasure. Sometimes we are frustrated in our prayers expecting certain answeres that never come because we have the wrong motives. we fail to see how God is protecting us from what will hurt us. In Job 10:13-22 Why? then, did you bring me out of my mothers womb? Why didn't you let me die at birth? Pain and suffering bring frustration. In Psalm 94:3 we read How long O'Lord? How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat? We should be frustrated by the evil all around us. In Proverbs 21:2 People may think they are doing what is right, but The Lord examines the heart. Examining the source of our frustration, and helps us to know how to deal with it. There is a big difference between being frusrated in our quest to do good and being frustrated because we cannot get our own way. Each must be dealt with differently. In Joshua 1:9 It says Do not be afraid or discouraged for The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Don't be discouraged you have a source of strength and courage to see you through. In Exodus 17:4 Then Moses pleaded with the Lord " What should I do with these people"? Recogonise that some of our problems don't have a human solution. We must take them to God, Only he is able handle some of them. In Ephesians 6:4 Don't make your children angry by the way you scold them. Be careful what you say when your frustrated. In Job 5:12 He frustrates the plans of the crafty. Remember everyone we all get frustrated from time to time, But we must watch what we say and to who, As you might end up regreting it and having to apologise. So keep on looking up to the light which is Jesus Christ and remember Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life. Sincerely in Christ. Clive {Matched_1}
