Community Christmas Message 2007.

Hi everyone, Well as we approach Christmas which is just about ten days away, We all should remember what the Bible teaches us all about Our Lords birth in the most humblest of places a stable in Bethlehem, This story is of cause exceptionally well known to each and everone of us. As it is taught by The Bible in the four Gosples and of cause Our Lords coming was for told in the book of Issiah as was his passion. It is the oppinion of both Pauline and I that Christmas is far to comercialised these days, As we all cannot help but notice that both the supermarkets as well as the department stores start there preperations for Christmas in August, Far to early in the oppinion of both Pauline and myself. We seem to forget what Christmas is all about, This child bourn in the city of David who as the Bible teaches us is Christ the Lord. We in this country MUST START TO PUT THE CHRIST BACK INTO CHRISTMAS. We appear to be putting far to much emphises on that our Children must have the latest toy or spending £s on the latest gadget. We should all be going to church and worshiping this child bourn on Christmas day that we should all have eternal life. As we read in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, That who so ever believeth in him should have eternal life" Well everyone as I draw this community Christmas message to a close, We should all remember the many blessings that he has bestowed on all of us this past year, As I myself probably more than most have a great deal that I should thank Our Lord for.
